Dear Friends,
Getting a regular Shabbat morning minyan at Chabad of Lexington has become more and more difficult. In hopes of ameliorating this situation, we have rolled out our new "Lex Make a Minyan" campaign for 5780, which includes online weekly minyan sign-ups with separate categories for men, women, and children, in order to track our minyan progress easily. Many of you heard Laura Shechter's Yom Kippur appeal for minyan attendance Kol Nidrei night. If you missed it, it is included below.
We are asking that all members of our community please consider attending Shabbat morning services just once every-other month and to sign up accordingly. Not to worry, though—you are always welcome to participate, even without prior commitment. The sign-up is to help ensure that we get a minyan each and every week.
If you would please take a moment and sign up as soon as possible (for as many weeks as you want!), we would be so appreciative: lexmakeaminyan.com. Together we can get to 10!
Additionally, we would like to encourage all members of our community to consider sponsoring a kiddush in honor of a yahrtzeit, birthday, anniversary, or just because! Kiddush provides a beautiful opportunity for the community to schmooze while enjoying some delicious home-cooked food. If interested, please sign up here, and invite someone new to share in the occasion!
